An important and historic day in the relations between Israel and Colombia, and for Jerusalem, our capital.
This morning, together with my friend, Colombia’s Foreign Minister @omarbula, I inaugurated the Embassy of Colombia in Jerusalem.
I thank my friend, the President of Colombia @ABDELAESPRIELLA, who told me in Buenos Aires, long before his election: “If I am elected President, I will immediately move the Embassy of Colombia to Jerusalem.”
He made a promise, and he kept it.
This is the tenth embassy to open in Jerusalem. Since I took office less than two years ago, the number of embassies in our capital has doubled!
And there will be more, God willing, very soon! 🇮🇱🇨🇴
